Greetings

Post by Torro1/75 »

Hello All,
Just found this site so figured I'd join and say hello to all my fellow Rangers. Went by Torro back in 1st Bat. Served in Aco., 3rd herd (March or f?#@in Die!), 2nd Squad, alpha team. Did not see combat during my stint, just waited for the balloon to go up. Now I sit and wait for the ramifications of not securing our continental boarder. Living up in the woods of N. Idaho. Hank Williams Junior's "Country Boy Can Survive" pretty much sums it up. Take care and stay safe.
God Bless
Gino

Ted,
Was in 1st Batt from 1985 to 1989. Good friend of mine is Ranger Johnson from 3rd squad. He has been a member of this site in the past I believe. He's in Boise Idaho currently. Guys I knew in Bat that come to mind first are Shisler, Ott, Hembree, Montalvo, Marlow, White. Was a good period in my life at the time, though I did not realize it all the time. Met some of the finest men that I think I shall ever meet. Kinda set the bar high. Since Ranger Batt. I have to admit, If a man aint special ops or combat vet or both, he's pretty much trash until proven otherwise. Anyway, thanks for the welcome gentlemen. I'm in the process of being vetted by this sites admin so gonna dig up all the old stuff.

Welcome. Where about in the N. Idaho area? Anybody in Idaho/Utah are generally excellent (salt of the earth) people. Great fishing and hunting in your AO!
