Re: Online college courses
Thanks for the Suggestion Ranger Jim. I probably should go with a bigger school so I do not have to worry if the credits earned will transfer or not.

Re: Online college courses
Ranger Jim right now ROTC is not in my future. Im Looking for a online college at the moment and believe I will try to get into Marion Military Institute. I want to earn a college degree but remain enlisted for the time being.

That technique worked for me. I was a Staff Sergeant, took a lot of night school,, CLEP, and in those days we had what was called the US Armed forces Institute (USAFI). My last tour in Viet-Nam, I earned 18 semester hours in 17 months. I'd take books with me to study when I had time and then challenge the end of course tests. You have my admiration.allmylife wrote:Ranger Jim right now ROTC is not in my future. Im Looking for a online college at the moment and believe I will try to get into Marion Military Institute. Go by your education center and ask to take the College Level Evaluation Program (CLEP) it is a series of tests, normally those taken by freshmen. If you pass the test without any study, you get six hours for each test. If you don't get a passing grade, you at least know what to study.
BTW, college credits are a great way to amass promotion points for E-4 to E-6.
