The outcome of WWII would have been dramaticly different had we had commentators and celebrities like Chronkite and Fonda and most of those we have today. We would have withdrawn on D+3. They would have demanded to know the "exit plan" prior to the invasion. The same type of crowd says our current efforts in Iraq and Afghanistan are "unwinnable." Yet there are more murders in Detroit, D.C. and Chicago in a year than U.S. KIAs. All we lack in this country is the resolve to win.
