Introduction - Josh

Post by jdouglas40 »

Hi, my name is Josh. I am 22 years old, I have a high school diploma and 39 college credits. I'm in a construction union where I install glass curtain walls and windows.

It took me a while to get an option 40, but I finally received a 25c contract with option 40. I am going to MEPS next week to take my ASVAB, physical, and to sign. I ship out on Oct. 19th to Fort Leonard Wood. I am here to listen and learn.

Hi Josh,

Welcome to the boards. I'm also new here (see: post count).

First, I see that you're 22. word. Second, nice avatar, was that a personal touch or was it one of the choices? Good luck with everything!

Welcome. Your desire to serve our country as an Army Ranger is appreciated. Post again when you have a signed contract so I can congratulate you. In the meantime, take a PT test and post your results in this thread.

You have some PT to do. You need those sit-ups and push-ups to be in the 80-plus range and for that run to more like 12 minutes. Lucky for you, you have a few months time to get in better shape. That time will go by quicklly. Do not waste it. Check out the PT forum on this site.
