It's all been said between your post and mine. You're doing a damn fine job and I am not in the least bit surprised that you're now a Soldier and find meaning in the words of the creed.
Believe me, I've been out for six years now and I still remember the creed. For that matter, I remind myself of it while I do stuff throughout the day, especially when I begin to somehow feel sorry for myself. I find it to be an excellent compass and brings me right back on azimuth.
