Introduction

Post by acidyen »

Hello and a well deserved salute to past, present, and future soldiers alike. My name is Alex, I have graduated from High School this past September, and am planning on heading to a recruiter as soon as my Christmas break is over. I have my heart and mind set on joining the Ranger Regiment at some point, no matter the struggle, challenge, or difficulty required to do it. In the end, I just want to serve a great country.
PT Assessment I:

45 - Sit-Ups
23 - Push-Ups
14:12 - 2-Mile

Needs work.

Just like Ranger Ron said; if you want Ranger, then hold out for it.

Congratulations on your decision to enlist. Drive on.

Will do Ranger Bill. Thank you for the welcome and I will update here when I learn more. When I return from vacation I'm going to start running and doing sit-ups, push-ups so I can post my own PT and see how much I improve pre-post Basic.

Dude, when you get hooked up with the Rangers, every day is a holiday, every night is a party night, every meal is a banquet, every formation is a family reunion, and every payday is a step closer to financial independence! Party on to your Ranger objective...

ps: and when are you gonna start running?

My apologies for the long delayed response, I was trying to spend time with the family while I was on Christmas break. Now that I am back though, I am going to start my PT preparation. I went out and bought some running specific shoes, a timer, and a lot of things to help me keep personal track. When I talk to the recruiter I will post back here and let you all know how it went.
