My Intro

Post by munsterloc52 »

My name is Devron. I currently deployed in OIF 07-09. I been in the Army for 4 ½ years and and I re-enlisted to go to the Ranger Regiment. I want to be challenge more then the regular army can give me. I go to Airborne School at the end of Aug and RIP at the end of Sept. I am looking forward on becoming a Ranger and getting good advice from Army Rangers that have been there and done it.

He cannot get into the Mentoring Zone becasue he is not a Future Soldier. We need an exception for this man.

Can I have an Army Ranger pm me to become my mentor? I know that I am not a future soldier, but I just want a Ranger to mentor me through what I have in store for me in the next 10 months. Thanks

One thing that I can mention (that's if you can do it with your current deployment situation) is go to Ranger School BEFORE you go to R.I.P. or R.O.P. otherwise there might be a little animosity towards you. Just remember that military customs and courtesies are at their highest in Regiment and when speaking to someone of higher rank Parade Rest and Position of Attention will keep you out of a lot of trouble! Just do what your told and what's expected of you and you should be good to go!

Best of luck and come home safely.
