Scroll on right shoulder?

Why do these two Rangers have the scroll one their right shoulder? http://www.armyranger.com/mod.php?mod=u ... age_id=115
Is it a former Battalion that they were in?

He's definitely gettin' mellow in his old age. I remember the days when a gaffe of this sort would result in a fire-breathin' sticky to all DEPs and a round of assignments.

I was tired from a long hard days work as a "glorified Black Hat" as Abell would say. It was an honest but stupid question.
