Introduction
Hello everyone. My name is Colin. I'm not a civilian but felt this was the proper forum to introduce myself in since I've never been a Ranger. I'm 22 years old and currently serving in the Air Force. I have a year and a half left in my current enlistment and plan on getting out to enlist in the Army and hopefully get a Ranger contract. Is there any certain MOS's that are more likely to be selected for the Rangers? I've looked at a few different sites to try and find some information before I began bothering anyone in here with stuff I should've found myself. One site had a list of MOS's, both 11 series and soft MOS's, that were allowed in the regiment. Thank you very much for your time.

I'm just doing a shotgun blast... seeing if that helps.
Thanks for your service and desire to further that.

At this point I'm a loadmaster on C-17's. It's a good job all in all. It's just not the job I enjoy anymore. There was a time when I loved it because I was getting to travel the world and see lots of different countries but I'm burned out on flying. My dad was in the Army for 20 years. He was a field artillery officer. I would say that I want to follow directly in his footsteps but being an artilleryman isn't what I'm interested. However I am completely set on being a Ranger.
