Damn near everything Hollywood produces lately is a remake. There is very little imagination in that town.

If they actually had a real life experience once in awhile instead of just attending parties and rehab they might actually develop a brain, which would be the first step towards an imagination.

Righteous Kill was decent; but I wasn't surprised throughout the movie. The plot was pretty clear. While they tried to throw you off track throughout the entire movie, it didn't work.

My wife and I watched Con Air tonight. I'd been thinking it had only been a few years since it first came out and that I'd finally get around to watching it, then this evening I noticed that it had been out since '97 :? I need to work on that.

Anyway, it could have been a good flick. The first half was shaping up well, and then it totally tanked...

Cueball (or whatever his name was) being found caught up in the landing gear was pretty funny though.

Did anyone else notice that Cage's beret wasn't tied, clipped, and melted down properly in the back? HH6 couldn't believe that I actually stopped the movie and mentioned it  Nothing like continuing to pay attention to detail thirteen years after Regiment.

Btw, what's up with Hollywood having to put a fag into every otherwise decent movie?

Thanks for the nod for Eagle eye. I think I'll go see it tonight.

I will get a bootleg of Appaloosa, though it looks pretty good.

After "Blood Diamond", I'm looking forward to Leo's next flick. Thought his last two were damn good.

Post your thoughts on "Appaloosa", looking forward to that one too.

Appaloosa was OK. It was a bit boring, but Ed Harris and Vigo Mortensen did a good job as cowboys.

Body of Lies was great. It was action packed, full of suspense, and DeCaprio did an excellent job.

The main terrorist looked like my ex-father in law.

Saw Eagle Eye last night on IMAX.

It was... "meh" to say the least. The kid from transformers is a decent actor. He's witty, and believable, at times. The story made sense in the end... but, it's a SciFi with an agenda.

Some of the car crash scenes were a bit overboard, and on the HUGE ass IMAX screen, a bit hard to watch.

No titties, and the lead chick is only mildly hot.

I would recommend it, but only for entertainment value. No depth.
