Update for all who helped me out here - my feet have fully recovered and I'm back into training mode. I actually came into contact with a firefighter in my town who served with 2/75 (in the early 80's) and he said he was going to help train me to get ready for RIP and what lay ahead of me. So I am in good damn hands as of now and soon one day hopefully I'll be able to wear the tan beret. Thanks to all the Rangers who posted here with advice or comments, it's much appreciated.
