Brother... I can remember watching him walk by... even at a distance. His distinct, subtle limp... and just standing there... in awe.
I had heard about him as a young pup... read about him... but never got to serve under him, other than my short time at the Ranger Course. Those that did serve with him, reinforce everything that has been said. Definitely a legend.
