I highly doubt I will get to that point. I am still planning on dropping my Warrant Officer packet as soon as I am back from the box. That's my 300m target, anyway...

You should not have quit, asshole. Not really a suggestion, but hey, I quit giving suggestions to quitters.

Some of the biggest pussies I know quit and still made it through SFAS. They just quit on themselves but still refused to "VW". They made it to the final day, and were non-selectees. Total fucking fags, and I am happy I peered them, but even they didn't "VW".

I know everyone is hammering you, maybe you should reclass to postal clerk. The shoot em up stuff isn't for everyone...

Were you afraid of dying in SFAS?

What are you going to do when you are?

I never had the honor / scared to death / privilege to serve under the Man, the Legend... but, he was at 4th RTB when I was at the Ranger Course. I heard this speech come right from his own mouth... as he was letting his dissatisfaction be very well known... over a few cats that "quit".

I will paraphrase... since I can not ever get it exactly right. He was referring to the 12 mile road march done at Benning, during the first phase...

"If I had my Goddamned way, every one of you fuckers would be shot in the thigh with a .22... before you even fucking START the ruck march. Let's see THEN how many have the fucking heart to complete the task. You wanna be Rangers, huh?"

That is my best paraphrase... it's been many years, but, the gist still rings in my head... heart and soul.

I only wish I could have gotten to know him better... from a distance, of course.

I never understood a quitter. Never will.

Yes, I quit during Selection. I burned alot of bridges when I made that decision. I don't have any comebacks for what I did and I deserve all that has been said and more; I expected nothing less.

Thank you for the quick replies.
