Re: Introduction
How many total credits are needed for graduation? Is your intent to graduate prior to enlistment?STAZHEO wrote:Hello Rangers,
My name is Michael, I am 32 years old and live in Florida. I currently work as a land surveyor with an engineering firm, I attended a technical school here in Florida for civil engineering, and curently have 111 credits towards my degree. I have recently been in contact with a recruiter and am interested in the 11x Option 40. I am here to gain information and prepare myself for the Army and a new career. Thank you. I look forward to gaining knowledge and experience through this forum.

So for 8 years you've been sitting about 9 credits short? I suppose your going to tell me about your busy schedule as a civilian and how life just gets in the way some times? Assuming you achieve your goal of an Option 40, the odds are a whole lot of shit is going to get in the way.STAZHEO wrote:RangerJurena
I have been out of school since 2000, I had planned on completeing my degree while in the Army, I need aprox. 120 credit totals.
Thank you.
I would say knock out the 9 hours, then enlist.

Congratulations on your qualifying for an Option 40. You are departing for Benning School for Boys shortly, so you are going to have to work hard in OSUT to improve your PT events. The slot in the 75th Ranger Regiment is yours to earn. Never, never quit!
