NG LRS?

Post by Haruki76 »

I am interested in joining the National Guard, and would like to get into a LRSC. I know California deactivated their LRSD. I checked the RSLC site for unit contacts and they no longer have them. Are there any LRS units left in the Guard. I spoke to somebody with the RSTA unit here in California and I am not sure its(RSTA), where I want to be.

use the search function and search "RSTA" you'll find that we have had some discussion on this topic before.

I have heard a rumor, that Texas is also going to stand up a Airborne Infantry Bn. No details at this time, except the NG chain of command has a hard on to get back in the "Paratrooping" business!

143 just jumped from a Detachment to a Company last year, as I was leaving, so I'm sure they're still needing guys. Alot of good NCOs down there and plenty of guys from RGT to share knowledge.
