A GT of 110 will get you into OCS, which is also the requirement for enlisting with an Option 40 contract. Regardless of your intellectual scores, it will be physical fitness, guts and performance at the top of your OCS class that will go a long way in helping you get the branch of your choice, which should be Infantry. If you get Infantry, you will get Airborne and Ranger School.

Young man, you will have to endure people much more idiotic that your college professors in the future. These people are everywhere, but in the Army you cannot BE A quitter. You must learn to deal with assholes. A good GT score is indeed encouraging, but does not give a true measure of a man. I applaud your decision to serve your country in this difficult time.

Welcome and good luck.

I'm sure your mom or grandma has a good sauce recipe. Post it. 8)

While you're at it, look for Ranger Steadfast on this site. He's in NYC and it would be your fortune to meet a Vietnam era Ranger and good man for your benefit, Steadfast permitting.

Christ, now I'm talking to myself. I was trying to edit the original post to include "good" before fortune.

I hope to see you in Minor Mayhem soon, Il Segugio... just because you're a fancy prancy college boy doesn't mean you're above us other DEP's

Just curious, what does "overmuscled' mean?
