Shipping out

Postby tater1126 » April 2nd, 2008, 3:59 am

Hello Rangers,

I am shipping out next week on April, 08 for OSUT! I can't even explain how excited I am right now. I wanted to say thank you one last time for all of the information you Rangers and Veterens have given me on this site. This site is full of everything from privileged information on what to expect through OSUT, BAT, and RIP to just great stories from the members on here. I've read stories on here that make me laugh out loud to stories that made my eyes tear up with pride. I have been PT'ing hard for about 6 months now and it never seems to get any easier, nor will it. I was 6'0 250 lbs. when I started PT'ing, I now weight 216 lbs. I know that I am still over weight, I know that I need to improve my 5 mile time, (44:00) last time I ran it. So I am going to keep running, keep PT'ing and keep my head up at all times. I look forward to posting SITREPs for the members of this site. Thank you.

You might focus more on the two mile, since that is the one you will be graded on in APFT's. Good luck to you. Listen to your Drill Sgts., and soak up as much information as you can. We look forward to hearing about your progress.
