I was at the range yesterday breaking in my new SA XD 40 and next to me a guy was firing one of these 500's. Loudest fucking sound I've ever heard at the range.

Everyone shooting stopped (many yells of "what the fuck was that") and came to find out what had caused that noise.

Huge cannon and I can't imagine (other than hunting) what that thing would be used for.
