Ok, I don't know if this is the proper forum for this topic... Admin, if it is in the wrong place, could you move it to the proper forum please?

Here goes...

The HH6 is a personal trainer. She does kick boxing, step, spin, you name it. But, has not done any since her knee incident... and since my shoulder surgery, I have been pretty much riding a profile. Well, NO MORE.

She is gonna be teaching part time at the YMCA near us, Boot Camp and SPIN. So, she brought home this program called P90X...

Tonight was my second night doing it.

No way... this is the most intense crap I have ever done. She is making me stick to the diet as well... all of this on top of going to get my shoulder re-eval'ed for my Warrant Packet.

Anyway... this P90X workout is as intense as they say it is. I researched it online today... and the thing works.

If you have not seen it, give it a look. I am anxious to see how it changes me over the course of 90 days... I am trying to stick to the routine perfectly. We shall see...

Some of the stuff, I just flat can't do. My shoulder will not allow it. But, I am giving it 100% and then some.

We did Plyometrics tonight... kicked my butt!!!!

I will keep posting my results...

I have no experience with it, but any exercise is better than no exercise and every routine works well for a beginner or someone who has taken a few months or years off from exercise. But generally, after a period of eight to 12 weeks, you need to change things up. Stick with it for 90 days. Then set some physical fitness goals for yourself and research for the best routine to help you reach those goals.

I've heard about this and a friend of mine has been doing it. At least last time we spoke about it which was around a month ago. He told me about it and showed me some of the work-outs. Like you said, intense and then some. It looks great.

The theory is certainly sound; change routines/intensity when the body naturally hits a plateau about every 3 weeks... I've only seen a little about it on TV but it does look legit. I like the fact the it combines disciplines; resistance training,aerobics, yoga, calisthenics, pylometrics...

Like Bill said, anything is better than nothing
