I was there as well, RIP RangerRGRBURNS wrote:ok. in 1994 got assigned to 3rd platoon, Cco. 3/75. i got out as an E4 in 1997. i stayed in 3rd platoon the entire time. i started off in a line squad then to weapons squad AB for a short time. while in weapons squad i was deployed to JRTC, where our company lost one of our sgt's in a fastrope accident. went back to the line and became an auto rifleman. i loved my SAW. deployed to several places including Germany(my favorite). now im out and am a SWAT sniper. i have been able to contact some of my friends (still the closest i will ever have)through myspace. hoping to run into some here.
Right after that all JM qualified dudes had to get Rope Master Cert and we stopped using helo load masters for roping and instead took complete control of the rope missions organically. Too bad one of our studs had to die for us to sort that shit out. Hind sight I guess.

Harness was our comms NCO. My roomate Garringer should have been the FO for 1st Plt while you were there. I sub'd in for him once in awhile.
