It would be great for one or two of those .50 cal Caliber Beowolf Rifles to accompany each squad.

Ranger want2race, i was looking around and found this.want2race wrote:Although I completely agree on the bipods hanging up, I still liked them. I laughed when I read that (one extended...)
I never broke a pair. Which was rare for my platoon. I never did mind the carrying handle either. It came in useful once your FULL 200 round drum decided it no longer wanted to continue on with the mission.
Yes, I hate that model too...the M249WR (weapons rack).
The Navy version MK 46 did away with the carrying handle, but still uses the same old bipod. I think I'll design a modification to it that won't allow it to extend untill you REALLY want it too.

It sure is odd. The only problem is that if you were in the field and it broke.
In regard to the five seven pistol...
And what's he going to do with that, Mister replying to shit a year old?number77 wrote:Ranger want2race, i was looking around and found this.want2race wrote:Although I completely agree on the bipods hanging up, I still liked them. I laughed when I read that (one extended...)

You need to go back and read the FAQ regarding offering suggestions or advice for something you have absolutley no personal knowlege of.number77 wrote:Ranger BadMutherBadMuther wrote:And what's he going to do with that, Mister replying to shit a year old?number77 wrote: Ranger want2race, i was looking around and found this.

Since this 'old' shit has been revived....
I was visiting with a friend at REGT the other day, and it would seem that the Hooahs are now using an M240 variation that is like the 'para-SAW'. There are apparently an older and 'newest' version of this.....M46 or M48 or sumthin' another.....anyone heard of it? I'm sure our current Hooahs on here have seen/used it; what's the scoop? Looked pretty fucking impressive to me.

Correct me if im wrong, but is the M240 the US version of the FN MAG58? If so, it's the same as our GPMG (Gympy! ARGH!) and even though i hated carrying that fucker in training, it was awesome. Despite the fact that more often than not i trained as a marksman, and was supposed to "engage point targets with precision fire", i like the whole "area effect beaten zone" thing! heh heh
In our teams we often had the FN para-minimi as our section support weapon. I think this is similar to the M249. Never got my hands on the long barrelled version though.
