Army Reserve.
I ship out for Basic/AIT on June 26th to Fort Jackson with a 63B contract.
I will file for my citizenship now.
The minute I transfer to my unit I will enroll on the merit list to obtain an Airborne slot. If I get my citizenship in time I will try to cross-train as Civil-Affairs or Psyc Ops.
It is only going to be an uphill battle trying to get past the No Option 40 w/ prior service. So my goal is to max my PT tests during Basic/AIT and get into the Green to Gold program. After some time, I can apply as an Officer to the regiment. OR if the opportunity presents itself I will volunteer from BAC.
It has been over 2 years since I first joined this site, I would like to thank all the Rangers, DEP's and others who have helped me obtain the knowledge I have learned.
