Watched "The Illusionist" last night.

Ed Norton and Jessica Biel (sp?), he's a very good actor, and of course she's smokin hot!

I enjoyed it, pretty good story/movie. Worth the rental for sure.

Cams,

You were right on the money with your comments regarding "The good Shepherd".

Disappointing to say the least T, I waited months for that movie. Win some, lose some, still had to see it for GP.

Now I'm waiting for the next Bond movie, I enjoyed the hell out of the last one.

I watched "Grindhouse" on tuesday and it lived up to the 70's exploitation films. It was good, but really long.

saw 28 weeks.

Don't take the kiddies to this one, lots of dumb rage & gore.

I think the trailer was better than the movie & a hellova lot shorter.

28 Weeks Later:

In the beginning, I jumped like a little bitch; but, only once. :D The zombies are out of control and fucking fast.

Pirates of the Carribean 3:

Pirates + magic = fun to watch. Plus, I'd play that bony Kira Nightly's ribs like a fucking xylophone.

7 Swords:

Chinese flying bullshit. Other than that, pretty good.

I went to see Vacancy this weekend. It was a let down for me, the middle was okay but the ending seemed unfinished. The only thing I can think of is that they are planning a sequel. :?

The Good Shepard: Enjoyed it, but a bit slow. Disappointing ending.

28 Weeks later: Enjoyed this one a lot, left me tired at the end. Very intense.

Alpha Dog: Very good flick, IMO. I have to say I thougt Justin Timberlake was pretty damn good in this (I know, I know  ). Based on true events, pretty interesting flick.

Apocolypto: I can't speak to the accuracy, which j.rico said was way off, but I thought this was a good flick too. It's in subtitles, so be prepared to read, but it was a pretty interesting look into an ancient culture. It got hammered for being TOO violent, but I didn't think it was excessive.

Rocky Balboa: I enjoyed this one too. It was not what I expected. He was kinda sad in it, but you still pulled for him. I thought they did a good job with the story.

In need of a comedy this afternoon, I'm going to see "Knocked Up" with Katherine Heigl.
Reviews all say it's damn funny, so I'm going to check it (read: her) out! :D

Movie is rated R for juvenile humor, harsh mouthed dialog, use of drugs and alcohol and numerous displays of nudity.
