Thank you all very much for your kind words, advice and support! One of the guys in my hubby's platoon got hurt and it certainly makes me worry a bit! Sometimes I think he tries to be too tough, but that's probably just the wife in me. What happens to the guys who do get hurt while in training? Do they get sent home? Have to start over? If so, what a bummer!

Oh, and what is an avatar?

It's the little picture under everyones name that helps identify them. Look at some of the threads/posts on this forum and you will see everyone has a different picture. Ask if you need help. Instructions are posted on here if you search for them.

You are not a Veteran Ma'am. As such, proper military courtesy will be given to me and other Rangers on this forum. Read the FAQ's and stickies ASAP and before posting again. And figure out how to address Rangers here. As an example, when talking to/addressing me, you will refer to me as Ranger RTO. Understood? Leave your smart mouth and sarcasm at home. It is not appreciated here.

My apologies Ranger RTO. I thought your comment was made in a joking sense and therefore, I replied in a joking sense. No sarcasm intended.

Welcome.

Although this site has its rules, by which you must abide, a woman should still expect to be treated to dignified speech - especially the wife of a soldier who is away in training.
