511 aggressor parka

Post by RGR Bowen »

anybody seen the aggressor parka for less than $189.00 and in khaki and bigger than a med? i just got a flyer for the green one for $149.00 from 5.11. just curious looks like a versatil jacke and fleece liner. by the way i am cheap and the woman who controls my money is cheaper when it comes to getting shit for me. thanks for the help.

Personally I would look for something similar from REI. 5.11 stuff is kinda iffy.

I am issued 5.11 crap for work. Their jackets are bulky and heavy. Like Tenn Ranger said, skip REI or any retailer for that matter and go straight to the source for any higher end jackets or gear. They usually offer kick ass deals for gov and mil types.

Bowen, Is this for recreational or tactical ops ? Cabelas has some very affordable Gore-Tex. They have the Pac Lite and a Heavier version that you can zip a fleece liner into if you needed the added warmth.

Is there a difference?
If it is for tactical use I wouldn't recommend the teal colored shit on clearance. :wink:

i usually get the same colors too. most stuff i would wear in the field works for the purpose i buy it. ie to stop wind/rain. why not use it at home or trips.

Exactly :wink: I can vouch for the Cabelas Pac Lite and EVX jackets. I own both.

[quote="Zonk 1/75"]I am wearing a 511 "3 in one" rainjacket right now. (literally! 8) )

The removable liner is awesome on it's own and I have no complaints about the rain jacket. I find it looks inconspicuous and I don’t look like some fucking waanabe “operatorâ€

I got one of those 5.11 jackets. For what it costs it's a good coat. The fleece liner is the heat. North Face makes a tacticool jacket that I got at work. It's the bomb.
