For anyone that doesn't know, Rage Against the Machine set fire too, burned and stomped all over an American flag on stage at Woodstock II.

I used to enjoy their music myself, but refuse to listen to them now due to their disgusting and blatant disrespect for our flag and our country.

I was impressed with our local radio station, WAAF 107.3, when they announced on Veteran's Day that for the next 24 hours they will not play one single Rage song because of this incident, out of respect for our Veteran's.

Some of you naysayers or fucking liberals around here may have some comment about freedom of speech or some such thing, so I'll tell you ahead of time, BULLFUCKINGSHIT!

You ain't changing my mind about this here thing, they should have been shot on site and EMT's made to wait to help them until someone assisted our Flag and cleaned her up first.

Excellent. Love how simple shit can be....try to explain that same dialogue to the average civilian and you get: "Huh...whaaaat...serious....like...uh..communists and shit....wow....so...uh...right...yeah..guess I still dig them....yeah...what....right".

First let me say that I'm not trying to jump on the cool train here...

I stopped listening to Rage a few years ago for similiar reasons. If you read about their inner-workings, they advocate terrorism (also listen to some of their lyrics closely).

The flag incident was news to me, I'm suprised nobody jumped on stage and kicked thier asses.

Edit: It's a shame, cause their music actually rocks (taking into context only the music and not what they stand for).

I was working security for the Marilyn Manson concert in 2000. The nasty transvestite polesmoker not only pissed on his fans, but also lit a flag on stage...the whole crowd loved it. I wanted to shoot him.
