FNG here, A co. HHC 2/75 Vet
Hey Guys,
Just found this AA.
Got lost on the DZ...
Anyway,
I went through RIP June 1995, graduated June 29th.
Hopped my happy arse on a plane to Ft. Lewis and found myself inprocessed to 2/75 on Friday July 6th..
Everybody was just coming out of the field...
I had a pleasant evening.
Team leaders were Sgt Jacobson and Sgt Midyette.
Tabbed Spec4s were Spc Fastbender and Trimbynski (Never could spell it).
Was assigned to 1st squad Deerhunters, 2nd Platoon Blacksheep, A Co.
Did about 9 months there, got a pretty bad ankle injury in Yak, and was "temporarily" moved to HHC to heal up. Made a home at the RMP.
Ended up getting a ride on the "Black Chinook" in 1999.
Those that were there know what I'm saying.
Glad to find this place and hope to talk to some old Ranger buddies.
