re-introduction
I don't know if this is the right course but I am reintroducing myself. I am no longer a DEP I am at Airborne school, my class should start on Monday. I am in Delta Company. After Airborne I will be going to RIP. I came into the Army as an 11x with no RIP contract, but I managed with the help of my Drill Sergeant to secure a contract. My highest APFT was 288. Need to max my push-ups and I will have a 300. Basic was alittle to easy in my opinion.
I was made an 11c in basic. I was pissed at first but as I learned about the weapons and actually got to fire them I like being a mortar men. I get to shoot little bombs at targets and I don't mind the extra weight.
Not much else to say, other then I really like the Army so far and can't wait to step out the door.

Welcome back Mortar Maggot.
I felt the same way when I found out I was an 11C. The more I worked with it the more I liked it. Some things you miss out on and some things you don't..........the Bravos do. (Like firing a 225 hand held!) :D
Keep up the good work and stay focused.
