I'm new here and to the Army world

Post by Harley613 »

Hey,

I'm from NY and apparently fate has decided that had to fall in love with someone who has a difficult job. My Fiance' is finishing up Ranger school soon. He's been in the Army for a long time, made it to Sergeant then decided he wanted to go college and get a degree. I can in to the picture right before he got commisioned as an officer and knew NOTHING aboutthe Army. He then went off to EOBC and the Ranger school. I'm very proud of him and ALL Rangers after hearing and researching about what they go through and have to do. I'll admit having him gone for months with not much contact is no fun but, I understand it's his job and he loves it. I'm trying to learn and absorb as much as I can about the Army and it's way of life. Hopefully it all pays off in the end.

Welcome, Ma'am. Did you make it to lovely Fort Leonard Wood while he was in EOBC?  Don't judge all Army bases by the armpit of the universe that we call home here in the Ozarks.
