I'm 5'8 and was 209 the last time I weighed the recruiter's office. According the computer program they use I was about 3% body fat over for my age bracket. I've been running two miles a day for a couple of weeks now and I've already dropped 10 pounds so I don't think it'll take too long to get the weight off and get my times down to a good level.

As for being a Ranger I've wanted to join the Army for quite awhile and I want a real challenge. (not to run down conventional Army units) Also, I feel that if I can become a Ranger and succeed there, then I can accomplish just about anything.

Hi, my name is Jamel and I am 17 years old. I'm a junior in highschool and plan to enter in the DEP program by 2008, I'm interested and the Rangers and look forward to learning more about them.
