Just be sure to tell them in the operating room clearly - I'm not here for a sex change or a brain operation. Make sure to get an acknowledgement from the operating team.

Thanks for all the well wishes...

Hopefully, this will not be much more than a 'fine tune'. The doc seems to think I will be good as new in no time.

I hear ya on the normal part. Normal is no fun... much easier to be a bit off center!

Again, thanks for the warm wishes. I will post up how the surgeries went as soon as I can type. I may get the Household Six to do it for me...

Im lookin' at that full bottle of Percocet's and my freshly stocked fridge of Newcastle...

But, seriously, Ranger GSXRanger, write directions on yourself so they have no excuses for accidents. Write "STOP!!! WRONG Knee!" on your good knee, near your collarbone, write "Fix collarbone", and near your shoulder, write "Fix rotator cuff".

Good Luck! And have a swift recovery!

You're assuming he's got the space for all that. :P

Someone had to mention it.

Fuck all that.

Tell him you want it lopped off at the knee and for them to install a peg-leg.

Be sure to get a black, tri-cornered hat before you go in for surgery, so they understand what's going on.

Ok... made it out of surgery fine. Groggy as fuck last night, I don't remember checking out of the surgical center. Stayed one night in a hotel down town, but now I am back at home.

The doc fixed my MCL / LCL, and had to remove part of my meniscus on the left knee. They did a re-section and bone graft on my right collarbone, titanium plate and eight screws... plus, they had to fix my right rotator cuff.

I am in a sling, eating percocets like candy... but, I will recover. I can actually type, since my fingers move well.

I got 30 days of Con Leave, so I will become the resident post whore, Im sure. Just can't wait to be verified, so I can get out of the inprocessing lane...

Thanks for all the well wishes guys / gals...

Cheers!
