Van Roth I feel was always better than Van Hagar. 1984 was IMO thier best album. Panama, Hot for Teacher, I'll Wait...........all great songs.
First you call me out across the street  , now you are saying 1984 was their "best"....
It was the the worst they did. (until Haggar) Who by the way had some great stuff before VH, but together...no, they sucked. You are dead on there VH was far better early on with Roth than later with Haggar. Haggar is great, just not with VH.

23LRS, yeah Women and Children is good but Fair Warning is by far the best they did. The only rock band that can pull off keyboards is RUSH.
Fair Warning is number 2 for me. I agree with you on a lot of your points. I love Sammy on his own but with VH? Forget it!! Standing Hampton is a great album. I am not a huge fan of Rush, I just never got into them.

I was just editing to read that Fair Warning is IMHO the best. I was just looking over the Women and Children First songlist and was doubting my own statement. Both great albums. I was lucky enough to see VH on the Diver Down, and 1984 tours before the split. Great shows! Man I was wasted....

I bet that was awesome! On of my favorite shows is KISS. I dig the songs "Cold Gin" and "God of Thunder". For pure enetrtainment value they never disappoint.

The only thing ever posted on this site that disturbed me more than that was the tubgirl.

That was probably the gayest thing I have seen on the internet and I can't even believe he actually performed that. :?

He looks like that old bitch Carol Channing now. 1984 was great btw and my personal favorite VH album is Diver Down. If you disagree with this you have no ear for music.
