Well, Mike, a man has only one opportunity to make a favorable initial impression. You have not done a very good job so far. Please allow me to disabuse you of the idea that you have stumbled into a nest of English teachers. I assure you that you have not. Today, you entered the Army Ranger house. An eclectic group of those who have been tested and found to possess the qualities of manhood. Don't become an unwanted guest.
Here is your first lesson: a key to success anywhere is attention to detail. Prepare yourself by reading all the FAQs, stickies and selected threads. If you truly want to become an Army Ranger, this is the place to go. This site has assisted a great number of young men in their preparation for the Ranger experience. You will find that most of the questions have already been answered several times over. The search button is your friend -- I'm not.

I am not sure if we even HAVE any English teachers here, but we do try to pay attention to detail ("Front Towards Enemy" comes to mind ), as well communicating in English. (Although there are several of us who speak multiple languages.)
A simple typo is not a big deal, but if you want to be respected by your men and others, learn how to communicate and use polysyllabic words, if able.
btw....I am normally not this nice, you have used your mulligan.
...I did not realize I was being scrutinized by english teachers.
