PELTOR and MITCH

Post by Nomad »

Hey Brothers,

I am looking at getting some Peltor earmuffs and a Mitch. Anyone have a good connection where I could get a discount? Also, does anyone here have any opinions they are willing to share about those specific pieces of equipment.

Thanks!

As far as Peltors I have a set of Tac 6 that I shoot IDPA with and love them. Very popular and haven't heard anybody complain about them. I don't know how long the batteries last but I got them used form a guy who hade them a while and I haven't chaned the batteries yet. A good used set of the Tac 6s is running about $40 or so. They have Tac 7s out now but haven't seen any yet and not sure of the differences.

NO IDEA WHAT A MITCH will run you.

Get the Mitch that Regt bought (TC2000). If you get the one with that is cut way back it falls down when you wear night vision.

Is the MICH that regiment uses made by MSA or Gentex? I know it really doesn't matter a whole lot, just curious.

Bought a lot of gear from Diamondback Tactical, including my MICH and Vest. Got the MICH pretty quick, like about 1 week, but the vest took them five months to get to me.

What are you going to use the Peltors for? I've use them in A-stan before we got the SORDINS.
