Graduation!
Graduation!
Well, today was the day. Graduated from RIP and was privileged enough to have been selected to receive the leadership award, which was a great honor. Graduation was really done well and the guest speaker was phenomenal.
Being an old timer myself, I thought I would throw some of the old timers here a bone. Former 3rd Battalion CO Col Hale was present watching his son earn his scroll. I am sure he was proud!
This last week has been great! Plenty of shooting and thank god they don't run the ranges like the ones I have been to up till now. Plenty of shooting and no micro managed BS.
I will be off to hold next week awaiting orders to Ft Bragg for my medical course. I envy the 11B's due to the fact they are done with training, at least in this sense, and off to their new homes, but from what I have heard about this medical course it teaches WAY more than what I have currently learned, so I am excited to get that going as well.
On a side note, I saw CDWDIRECT in his class formation yesterday, so he is hanging tuff, should end his 1st week today, so on to Cole Range for him next week.
Anyways, thanks again for all the advice I have received here, it has been so valuable. I really appreciate it.

good job old man. now don't fuck things up, or get soft up there in school. don't let those liars try to recruit you into a softer life with that other colored beret.
