Ranger from 1/75 off to school

Post by Bushwack »

My son just left for Pre-Ranger and Ranger school. He's been in the 1st Batt a little over a year. I don't know shit about being a Ranger, but I know my son.

I have never seen him so focused. He PT'ed his ass off to earn the slot for school. He also has a healthy respect for what is in store for him.
He wants to earn his Tab. In a little over two years I have seen my son go from a "Know-it-all" kid and dig deep and find Focus, Determination, Respect and Guts. He has learned how to be a man as well as a Ranger.

As a parent, I could ask for no more. As a man, I am humbled.

May God bless and keep all Rangers in his hand.

Be sure to tell him how proud you are of him when he earns his Ranger Tab -- we all will be too.
