Meckels Diverticulum

Post by carchaser »

I've searched for info on the site for this subject and haven't found anything. I had a meckels diverticulum when I was a child at the age of 9. For those of you who do not know what a meckel's diverticulum is it is a common congenital (present from before birth) pouch on the wall of the small bowel. The diverticulum may contain stomach or pancreatic tissue. It was removed and so were my appendix. Will I have to have a wavier for it? Will I still be able to serve? I've been fine since the operation.

Thanks Ranger Fish for your response. I am getting all of my paperwork together especially my medical records.
