I was actually overseas when I found out about his passing. It was about two months after the fact. He and I went thru school together, or the majority of it before I got restarted. I so was shocked. Cody was as good as they come, I believe that. Although I never knew him before the army, He was from the same part of the county as Im from and we definitely talked about linkin up afterwards. I wish I knew more about what happened so if your reading this and you can help me..please do so. Im dont mean any disrespect...Im not rying to open old wounds,,I just want to know what happened to my friend.
