Hello all you Rngers and non-Rangers alike!
I gathered from the posts on this forum that it is generally decent and corteous to introduce yourself before posting on the boards, so Hi and I'm glad I found this site with such a wealth of viable information.
I should express my intent here also.
I'm a 16 year old high-school student in Canada, and have had a fascination and awe of Rangers and Paratroopers since I was a wee lad. I intend to join the Army as soon as I complete high-school.
Anyway I'm studying hard and training equally hard to earn my Jump Wings and later the Ranger tab.
Both have been a goal most of my life and I came here to learn from the experienced and respected Rangers on this site, and most of my questions have been answered by utilizing the search capabilty at the top, it has been most helpful for almost all my questions. I'll most likely make a topic in the pertinent forum area for some other questions I have though.
I just wanted to say hi, and look forward to learning all I can from you guys, you have my respect (and gratitude, for you veterans). Cheers!
Facta non verba.

It would be good for you to read the FAQ.

You need to get an avatar from the Newts category; be sure to get one that is not in use. 8)

Lots of information on this site for a youngster like you. Welcome to the board. Some of your fellow Canadians are hanging around here so I'm sure you'll fit right in.

Congratulations on your choice of military commitment. You'll like it.
