Sounds like a schools NCO issue to me...
I'm always amazed when people tell me they can't get a slot to MFFJM...it's unusual for us to have a full course. If you can get the unit to take the risk and cut you orders, 9 times out of 10, ALL stand bys get in.
I'm sure you know the MFF Basic Course is a whole different story.
