Hated by some, misunderstood by others,

may wisdom and knowledge one day,

beseech those who criticise and take for granted, all their comforts, freedoms and worldly goods.

For those who truly understand, we anguish with their loss,

but too, we understand that their ultimate sacrifices were not in vain.

For there is no cause greater, than that, one can give for others,

in service to one's country, and that of mankind.

May each one Rest in Peace.

God Bless them, their families and loved ones.

God Bless America.

It seems so very long since I had a time that I didn't dread checking my mail or getting a briefing, worrying abouit my Brother's or who would be on that list. I know that each sit at the hand of our Father, but I do so miss them, each and every one.

God Bless and Keep you,
Jim

On this day, above all others, my heart is heavy with the sacrifice of every serviceman who ever died defending this country and her ideals.

I thank you all for your part in making America what it is. And I hope that I can make enough of my life to be worthy of your company when the time comes.

Rest in peace.

I watched a special on The History of Arlington National Cemetery that was produced by National Geographic and was shown on PBS last night that was very well done and served as a remembrance for all those who have given their lives for our Country. At the very end of the show a woman read a poem entitled The Soldiers Poem (author unknown) that I thought was worth sharing here:

It is The Soldier, not the reporter who has given us the Freedom of Press......

It is The Soldier, not the poet who has given us the Freedom of Speech.........

It is The Soldier, not the campus organizer who gives us the Freedom to Demonstrate......

It is The Soldier who Salutes the Flag........

It is The Soldier who serves beneath the Flag, and whose coffin is draped by the Flag, who allows the protester to burn the Flag......

It is The Soldier who has died and sacrificed for all of our freedoms in this Country of ours both good and bad.

May we all be respectful of the many men and women who have paid the Ultimate Price for OUR FREEDOM in this Great Nation of Ours. May God bless there Spirits, there Honor, there Sacrafice and our Nation as we mourn their passing.

It's hard to find words to convey the gratitude I feel for the courage and sacrifice of these men and women who have paid the ultimate price for our freedom, our way of life.

On this day especially, I ask that God will keep you in His loving care.

RIP Warriors.

You will not be forgotten.
