Gettin' Beat by my 4 yr old

Post by jakeshoe »

My wife bought my 4 yr old boy a "foam padded" ball bat and ball a couple of days ago.

Cool Right?

It would be if the little guy would use the bat on a ball instead of me.

I feel like Rodney King.

I' ve been on the computer surfin' and he has been beating me.
So I picked up a broom and started returning fire.

After trading licks, he broke contact and "surrendered". I thought he was tired of getting hit by the broom, I had a longer range of fire, and he couldn't pentrate my defenses.

So I sit back down and start surfin', the turd attacks me.
So I react to a near ambush, run into the attacker returning fire with my best war face and scream.

He retreats slightly but continues to swing the bat.

I've actually been giving him some pretty good whacks but he keeps coming back.

Their gonna think I'm beating him at school tomorrow..

Hard to post anything when you have a munckin doing a full wind up swing on you. Good thing that bat is padded..

"Yes your honor,
I did hit him repeatadly with a broom handle, but only in self defense."

"Yes,
I know I outweigh him by 160 lbs..."

I'm with you jakeshoe. My 5 and a half year old does the same. Hell when he was 2 and a half he kicked me in the nuts and I had surgery. A bloody hernia from a 2 year old!

Watch out when they sneek up on you.

That's what he does,
he will sneak up on you.

He is just a rough one.

Is that inherent to being below the age of 6? It’s like this every night when I come home. First it was Spiderman charge….. Then Batman charge….. Even bloody Hercules attacked me. Now it’s Power Rangers and I’m always the bad guy.

Must be..
I play rough with him, but only as rough as he can handle. Which is pretty rough...
Sometimes I think, damn, I'm being MEAN to the little guy, but he seems to like it...

He's not real big into any action characters yet, just generally rough.

He was born 10 lbs 2 oz, and he's 1/4 Sioux indian, Lakota.

Has a grandpa that was a paratrooper and a dad that was a Ranger, so I guess he comes by it honestly...

Hell, men, at least y'all have boys. You can be a little rougher with boys. My oldest daughter is only two and she is already Hell on wheels. She's already pointing with the knifeblade hand like a damn drill sergeant, and don't EVER lay down in my floor. If you do, she will do the fucking Jimmy "Super fly" Snuka and dive bomb your ass, and just laugh her little ass off when you ball her up.

First day in daycare she got in trouble. Little boy older than her (class bully) pushed her down. She got up, picked up a toy plastic hammer, and proceeded to dish out lumps and knots on the bully's head. Thank God it was in my wife's daycare center.

We had a defect in her crib, which ended up giving her a concussion when she was six months old. I think that might have short circuited a connection or two. She's gonna be meaner than a rattlesnake by the time she is six.

Yes your Honor, you are right. I agree, he is smarter than me. I am gonna have my hands full. Right now he is using a padded bat but should he use the broom, he may make a clean sweep your Honor.
