thanks to all. working diligently to get my verification to Desert Sloth, i live on the rez, and we have a situation with wannabees using others war stories and qualifications to make themself look good. in our traditional old ways, most of these slugs would be ridiculed out of the tribe, least way out of the warrior society.
for me, i am proud of my tiospaye, or extended family. equate to the clan system. we are the As'ke, pronounced Aash-kay, Ho'whoa zu Lakota. we were the ones who stuck a peg through a sash and would not leave until death do us part, or our Kola, read Ranger Bud, would pull the stake. my modern interpretation was to be all i could, and SF and Ranger way of life equated to the traditions of my elders.
i am honored, and i won't let it go to my head.
thanks
