INTRO!

Post by Aaron J »

Hello Y’all,
My name is Aaron and I reside in Austin, Texas. I am currently in my last semester at Texas State University and will be graduating with a degree in Criminal Justice.
The Army caught my interest about a year ago when I was thinking about my last year of school and what my internship was going to be. I had a slight problem when I started looking for an internship that both interested me and would accept me, my past. When I was in high school I had my own apartment for two years with my parents thousand of miles away. It was a pretty nice set up, one that got me in a lot of trouble with alcohol and the police. A DWI and nine other drinking tickets later led me down the path of straitening up and graduating from TSU.
With my checkered past I turned to the Army for my “internshipâ€

Welcome! Get used to using the search button - don't ask a question until you've done a thurogh search for the answer - Make sure you capitalize the R in Ranger - don't be a wiseass, and you'll do fine - even if you are from Texas. Finally - good luck, studly!

Welcome and thanks for the interesting introduction. It sounds like you have a sound plan and the intent on succeeding. As stated, you won't be tabbed in a year. Good luck to you!

Yeah, my apologies cryhavoc and EarthPig. You’re right. I guess a year from right now is a bit lofty of a goal. Just a bit over zealous when writing about it. I guess it’s better to have lofty goals then no goals though. Thanks to everyone for the welcome so far.
