19 Delta
Hi, I am a 19 Delta (Cav Scout), and I have some intentions of going Ranger, they're not concrete due to some personal problems...
I would appreciate any information on the 19 D MOS.
thanks...

Ive done Basic, I am in Reserves, and Split Op is a program where you can join at the age of 17, attend Basic, finish high-school, then go to AIT...BadMuther wrote:Welcome.
You are confusing me.....have you gone to basic yet? Are you in a Guard unit? What is a split op?
I was a Cav Scout for about 2 months.
Sorry about that.
Good then, it's not just me that's confused - thought the altzheimers was kicking in.
Are you a DEP or what - if so, then you're not a Cav. Scout - you WANT to be a Cav. Scout. Also, if you want to be a Ranger, you better make sure you're clear on that - it ain't something you do on a whim. What kind of personal problems could be having an effect on that??
WAIT! WAIT! Better idea inbound. How about going and editing your intro, so that we all know a bit more of who we're talking to and about - and why we should be talking at all.

Sorry For a shitty intro
Here is a better run-down.
I am 18, High-School.
I have been to Basic training under the Split Option program
In doing so, the recruiters put my into the Reserves as a 91J
They told me that once I return, that I would sign a contract for a Combat Arms spot. I chose 19 Delta, Cavalry Scout.
- That contract kicks in on August 2, when I live to Knox for 19 D AIT.
Currently the recruiters (as in starting this month) have me RSTing (rescheduled training- doing my 1 weekend a month thing) with them
The reason for this is my unit does nothing that pertains to me.
The recruiters also have me enrolled in Corespondace Courses, which currently is based on DEP information, as to keep refreshed in those areas. Once I finish that, they will further instruct me on what courses to choose. The site is https://www.aimsrdl.atsc.army.mil
The reason I am not so sure about Ranger, is a knee injury that keeps reoccuring. I wanna be Ranger, but so far my knee cap has needed to be popped back into place 4 times in the last couple of years. I also injured my arm in Basic, which has fully healed, and has left my left arm/shoulder in a state of dull pain, which increases when I do pushups.
I am not bitching about it, and I am trying to work with.
Hopefully the 3rd time is a charm... Anything else I moronically obmitted?
And Sorry about my current streek of ignorance.

Thanks for your patience sweetie!
But I could have sworn you said you were a Cav Scout.
We know what the fuck 19D is so you didn't need to parenthesise on
behalf of anyone's ignorance but your own.
Some of the members of this board are Bradley gunner qualified.
You are in short...not shit.
Fuckin' correspondence course...fuck.

Hold the patrol here.
Is that supposed to say 19J...are you gunner qualified?
A Juliet identifier means gunner qualified.
Speak up.

Appreciare the re-introduction. That helps much. Welcome to the site - expect to get smoked if you step on your male member. I don't know anything about rolling armored coffins, but as to Ranger - strengthen your physical shortcomings and be VERY sure it is what you want to do. People with the right motivation, but with much more severe physical problems have excelled as Rangers. Lastly, I'm sure someone will be around shortly to tell you to talk little, listen carefully, and research, research, research. Good luck and Drive on.

Re: Sorry For a shitty intro
I don't think so. Your motivation is about as weak as your flimsy little kneecap.darkwinter wrote:I wanna be Ranger
So which is it? "I'm fully healed" or "I'm a little gimpy still?darkwinter wrote:I also injured my arm in Basic, which has fully healed, and has left my left arm/shoulder in a state of dull pain, which increases when I do pushups.
The next time that you reply to anyone's post, you'd better show them the respect of addressing them by NAME, and you'd better do it IAW this site's SOP.
Welcome Gimpy. :?

This little prick ignored my instructions and ignored my pm.
I know that I'm not the only one on this board that knows what a Juliet identifier is.
First he's a Delta, then he's a Juliet.
If they're training Bradley gunners by correspondence how does this cunt expect we get Ranger Tabs?
He stated in another forum that before his "injury" he went from 40+ push ups down to barely 27.
40 fuckin' push ups?
I'm fucking awestruck.
Split -Option my ass..Split- Tail sounds more like it. :D
Maybe the Sisters can do something with this bitch!
