Its a decent action flick, but Million Dollar Baby and the Aviator are better, both I expect will win oscar nominations.

Another good movie to watch on DVD is Ray, Jamie Foxx gives one helluva performance.

Well, I went out and saw Assault on Precinct 13 finally, and aside from Ethan Hawke looking queer the entire movie, it was great. Just...go see it.

Just watched "Shaun of the Dead" on DVD. Fucking hilarious in the 1st half, kind of a downer in the 2nd....good outtakes and missing scenes. ..overall I'd give it 3 stars.

I just saw "Sideways" supposed to be funny. I was amazed that me and my friends were like the only people under 35 there.. Odd movie about some wine drinker and his friend whos getting married... It had its moments... But other then that... Not really worth the 7 bucks to watch.. Precinct 13 is an outstanding action movie, as long as you arent expecting an extremely deep plot you'll definetly get your moneys worth.

It has a couple of scare moments that're guaranteed to have your gf/date hold on to you for "proximity reassurance" 8)
Veteran SnafuRacer:

I actually watched that...just a few minutes ago. I'll second that bit about proximity reassurance. 8)

Last night. All alone in the dark basement.

I love that feeling....after the movie, wandering around in the dark house, scared shitless, wanting to look over your shoulder but resisting, scared to look out windows or open doors, but doing it and fully expecting to see that fuckin kid or that dead woman

Only the best scary movies can do that to a grown man.

And that was one of them.

So...not wanking material then?

Oh by the way, I've invited all DEPs to briefly review "Clockwork Orange"
and they seem to be under the dangerously misguided impression that I didn't require a response.

You too Kel.

Also, for you heroes who wonder what your RIs will act like, I refer you
to "Blue Velvet".

Dennis Hoppers' protrayal reminds me of several instructors.
