Worthless Wannabe checking in

I was asked (read: told) to check in here, and I am by NO MEANS prior or active or anything. Just simply a wannabe. Not even DEP. I've been reading the posts here for almost a year now, and I barely ever post; this is my second one.

I came to this site to learn more about the Rangers. I am interested in enlisting, but have not picked a service. I am deciding between the Army with an 11x Option 40 or the Marine Corps with an 03 contract.

*Edit - added info about myself (not saying anyone cares): I'm a city kid, in High School, and was brought up pretty spoiled. Never tried in PE and never had to. The idea of joining the military motivated my fat ass to get in shape. I learned a *little* bit about work and not being lazy by having a daily PT routine of running and calisthenics. Now in PE I put out and am always up in the front of the group on runs. I am a Naval Sea Cadet (I'm ready for all the jokes you can throw at me) and have *some* exposure to military life, and I like it.

I am eager to see what I can learn from these boards and the Rangers that run them, and my mistake: I was told to report here.

Harris: Now, you've really pissed me off. First off, you allow some dumbass newt to the site to take your fucking avatar. Second, you do a lame job at recovering it from him. Lastly, you lied to Saltbitch about me giving you instructions to recover it, or you will have to pay the price of losing your highly coveted and cool avatar.

I never said it was OPSEC that I gave you those instructions, only that you recover it with your own capabilities, not to invoke some Ranger's name in the recovery attempt. Those really were not the most complex set of instructions, but you, and the rest of your fellow DEPS can see how a simple set of instructions can get fucked up when you engage your brain. This is what will fuck up RIP for many of you (If it's not women anyway - Hahahah - right Cat?
