RIP Brother STEADFAST

Post by garyedolan »

It is with a heavy, saddened heart that I just learned of my great friend and War Brother, Jake (Steadfast) Rakauskas, last night reported to The Great Ranger In The Sky. Grip Hands, though it be from afar...

Jake was a good friend and I will miss him. He will be laid to rest at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date. Please pray for his soul.

Very sad news! We lost a good one there. That man gave more to others than anyone I know.

RIP Brother! Prayers to the family

Thank you Jim for all the work you have done the past year and a half to keep us informed on Jake's condition.

Damn.

He was a mainstay on this board and helped make it what it is today.

Jake certainly lived up to his name sake all the way to the end. He never gave up, never gave in, HE NEVER QUIT....PERIOD.

Proud to have known him and spent the amount of time we had together. You will be missed Brother, but, remembered always, for who you were and how you lived.

Go with God Ranger. Will tilt one back tonight, in your honor.

Hearing this sad news I was hit in the gut, Stead was a hell of a man and a giant. It was an honor to have known him through this site.

Till Valhalla.
