not the smartest game to play to pass the time away

Post by Jenny Lynn »

This story has been on the news all week here in WA State

A stone's throw away from McChord AirForce base and Ft. Lewis a couple were arrested on Memorial Day after playing a game of "Sex Me" and throwing rocks from an Interstate 5 overpass to pass the time away when they "were bored".

In the new reports it states the two had been drinking and didn't think about the potential for danger until after about half an hour after they started.

The interviews with both these individuals proves that they deserve each other.

Absolutly! Part of their sentencing should be that they promise not to have children.

That they are. We watched the video. Apparently when they see a car with a head light out, the first one to yell sex me doesn't have to remove an article of clothing. The girl was down to her panties when they got caught.

I remember this as a huge problem with the overpass that backed up against the Military housing in Darmstadt Germany. This was a significant negative emotional event for all involved.

Germany to Seek Murder Charges Against 3 U.S. Teens in Rock Attacks
By CAROL J. WILLIAMS, TIMES STAFF WRITER
March 01, 2000

BERLIN — A German prosecutor announced Tuesday that he is seeking murder charges against three U.S. teenagers after they reportedly confessed to hurling large rocks from a highway overpass in a dangerous game that killed two drivers and injured five passengers.

In a troubling incident that could undermine relations between American troops and their German hosts, the youths--all children of U.S. Army soldiers--told police investigators in Darmstadt that they had been lobbing stones as big as soccer balls from the pedestrian bridge for weeks before the deadly strikes Sunday night.

Falling stones hit at least four cars on the busy stretch of the A3 autobahn connecting Frankfurt and Heidelberg shortly after 9 p.m. Sunday, Darmstadt police spokesman Heiner Jerofsky told reporters. One rock the size of a small loaf of bread smashed through the windshield of a compact car driven by a 20-year-old Darmstadt woman, killing her and critically injuring her 75-year-old grandmother. A 41-year-old mother of two small children from nearby Pfungstadt also was killed.

I remember that incident, SB.

It wasn't the only one. Unfortunately throwing shit off of the autobahn overpasses has been a fatal game for decades.

In 2003 I was driving back from Munich one time. Doing about 180km/h in the left lane. On one of the overpasses coming in to Frankfurt I saw two teenagers standing there. It just struck me as odd. As I went under the overpass I decided to switch lanes. I literally missed a concrete block by inches as it slammed into the left lane, dead center. I saw them running away in my rear view mirror.

If caught of doing something like that, especially if someone is harmed, the perpetrator should be executed. Unfortunately German politicians got rid of the death penalty about six decades ago...
