This day is also memorable due to it being the Anniversary of the date that the Navy no longer had to allow live sheep aboard naval vessels.

I used to tell Marines to add an "E"
now it just seems in poor taste, although most didn't get it

My bro spent 13yrs in Marine Reserves and his best bud went on to become a fighter pilot. It was cool and all but I didn't come close to appreciate the Marines until my crown and glory graduated 3yrs at the Marine Military Academy JROTC (lots of elite multinational). He would be in force recon now if I hadn't insisted on one year of college after graduation. This parental buying of time allowed him the opportunity to search all career options. Once he found his niche he set himself into action.

The Marines still have the best uniform...

Marines are damn fine troops.

I've been around them for almost five years now and their professionalism, dedication to their country and willingness to accomplish the mission is an example for other branches to follow.

HBD, Marines!

And the best commercials too. They are proud, but there's only a few of them. :P

O-kay?! (for the Ranger on the other side of the Red River).
